FalconX, Interstice Connect Canton to Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain

By Priya Chen · · 1 min read

FalconX and Interstice have launched a non-custodial cross-chain swap engine that links the Canton Network's institutional tokenized-asset markets with liquidity across major public blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain.

Bridging Institutional and Public Chains

The new infrastructure aims to close a long-standing gap between the permissioned world of institutional tokenized assets and the deep liquidity found on public blockchains. Canton, a privacy-focused network favored by financial institutions for tokenizing real-world assets, has historically operated somewhat apart from the broader crypto ecosystem.

By connecting Canton to Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain, the swap engine allows assets and trading activity to flow more freely between these environments. The design is non-custodial, meaning users retain control of their assets throughout the swap process rather than handing them to an intermediary.

Institutional tokenized markets no longer have to sit on an island cut off from public blockchain liquidity.

What the Swap Engine Enables

The collaboration brings together FalconX's institutional trading and liquidity capabilities with Interstice's cross-chain technology. The result is a system intended to let participants move value across previously siloed networks without sacrificing security or self-custody.

Key aspects of the launch include:

  • Non-custodial swaps that keep users in control of their assets
  • A connection between Canton's tokenized-asset markets and public-chain liquidity
  • Support spanning Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain

For institutions exploring tokenization, the ability to tap into public-chain liquidity could make Canton-based assets more attractive and easier to trade. As tokenized real-world assets continue to gain traction, infrastructure that unites institutional and retail-facing networks may play a growing role in the market's development.
