BlackRock drives $217M Bitcoin ETF rebound as altcoin funds continue streaks

By Diego Whitfield · · 1 min read

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds staged a comeback on the strength of BlackRock's flagship fund, hauling in roughly $217 million in fresh capital and reversing a recent slump, while a wave of altcoin-focused products kept their inflow winning streaks alive.

Bitcoin Funds Bounce Back

The rebound was powered largely by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, which anchored the group's return to positive territory after a stretch of outflows. The reversal signals that institutional appetite for Bitcoin exposure remains intact even amid choppy price action across the broader crypto market.

The single-day haul underscores how concentrated inflows have become, with BlackRock's product routinely doing much of the heavy lifting for the entire category. Investors continue to favor the regulated ETF wrapper as a convenient on-ramp for gaining spot exposure to the leading cryptocurrency.

BlackRock once again proved it is the engine room of the US Bitcoin ETF market.

Altcoin ETFs Extend Their Streaks

Beyond Bitcoin, a cluster of altcoin funds showed persistent demand. Ether ETFs stretched their run of positive sessions, reflecting steady interest in the second-largest cryptocurrency by market value.

Newer offerings tied to other major tokens also kept adding money, pointing to a broadening of the ETF investment landscape beyond the original Bitcoin products.

  • Ether ETFs extended their inflow streak to 11 consecutive trading sessions.
  • XRP funds logged a 10th straight positive session.
  • Solana funds also notched a 10th consecutive day of inflows.

The sustained streaks across multiple altcoin products suggest investors are increasingly comfortable diversifying their crypto ETF holdings, spreading capital across a wider range of digital assets rather than concentrating solely on Bitcoin.
